Welcome to Whitchurch United football club.

History

Whitchurch United was founded in 1903 and currently has 5 senior teams and 12 youth teams from U7 onwards, including 2 girls teams.  The teams nickname, The Jamboys, refers to the Longs Jam Factory that once stood in the centre of the town and is reflected the red and white strip the teams wear.

Teams

The main pitch is at Longmeadow, Whitchurch and is used by teams from U13 upwards, younger youth teams play either at Testbourne School next door or within a short distance from the town. In 2017/18 both the senior and youth sections were awarded Charted Standard Accreditation by the FA for showing commitment to Grassroots football and the further development of the club.

The Club

For the last 4 seasons, Whitchurch United have been voted The Friendliest Club by other teams in our league of which we are extremely proud. The club is overseen by a committee of volunteers who deal with the day to day running of the club and the rest of the coaches, managers and their support are all committed volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to their teams from 6 years old to …………however old you want to admit to.
